The Domestic Violence Roundtable offers a range of opportunities to support victims of domestic violence and educate the community on how to respond and prevent the issue. DVR acts as a referral agency to ensure that community members receive the best possible resources, care, and support, by working closely with local organizations and community members. More information about each Action Committee is located in the section below.

Education And Outreach 

The Education and Outreach Committee shall develop, coordinate, and promote educational activities designed to promote the mission and goals of DVR. Also tasked with developing an annual budget and proposing it to the Executive Committee.

Public Relations And Media 

The Public Relations/Media Committee shall develop and implement media tools which will promote the work and mission of DVR. Also tasked with developing an annual budget and proposing it to the Executive Committee.

Support For Survivor's of Murder- Suicide 

SSMS was created by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence to provide support, resources, and referrals to survivors of domestic violence related murder-suicides in Georgia. SSMS helps equip Task Forces, like DVR, to respond to survivors of murder- suicide incidents and provides a framework for developing effective strategies to respond to these incidents, and practical tools to support survivors of murder-suicide.
